I only discovered the brand essence this year and it definitely helped push my polish obsession along.....I mean at the cheap prices, brilliant range, quality and the limited edition ranges it was hard not too fall in love with essence. Not many of the essence polishes are one-coaters and a few are a tiny bit difficult but nonetheless I adore them :)
My top three essence polishes of 2012 are:
- where is the party - a magnificent duochrome. the main colours of the duochrome are purple and green however there are quite a lot of different colors in this polish. You can spend hours staring at your nails.....
- princess prunella - a unique shade that has a subtle duochrome (somewhere between purple and taupe).
- gorgeous bling bling - a vibrant burnt orange with multi-sized gold flecks.
Favourite limited edition collection?
Definitely the snow white collection. I'm not sure if this is just because I brought the most from the collection (or maybe it was because essence products were 25% off that week, lo!) but anyway I thought all of the colours from the collection were lovely even if they were not all totally unique..... Yellow polish is known to be notoriously bad but the yellow from this collection is brilliant! I also adore doc and sleepy.

DeleteBut they have had some awesome editions this year I think!
I've been getting into Essence a little bit too. My favourite is probably Vampire's Love 'Into the Dark'.
