Project No Buy - Week #1

Okay here goes......wish me luck! I am beginning my first ever 'no buy' project. I discussed this a few days ago, click here to read more about the rules of this project.

The rules are that if I complete the weekly goals that I set today I will earn "credit" which I can use to buy beauty things. I need to save up money and need to learn some self-control so hopefully this will help me do precisely that.

My week goals for this week are:

1. Complete the write-up and photograph two nail posts.
2. Review Burt's Bee's cuticle cream and OmShe lipstick.
3. I've been on holidays for the past two weeks and have been over-indulging so for the next week I am only drinking water and tea and not eating any naughty food!

This idea is "borrowed" from Nancy so please check out her blog (click here) and see how well she is going with her project no buy :)

Thanks for reading and take care.

  2. Hi Citygirl907, this project sounds interesting!
I'm writing you to let you know that next week I'll be completing "The Battle challenge" you hosted. I've done 1 manicure each week for the past 19 weeks and next week will be the last. I'm quite sure I'm the only one doing the challenge.
Wanted to let you know, so you don't think nobody completed the challenge. I did!

Thank you so much for letting me know you completed it, you manicures were fantastic! I hope you will join me for another (shorter) challenge one day soon! Thank you so much for participating :)
