By The Numbers: 33

Hi guys, so you might remember two weeks ago in my "things are happening" post I told you all that every Monday I was going to do a 'by the numbers' post but then on Monday it was the "anniversary" of my blog and being the sentimental person that I am I wanted to celebrate blogging for a year. Soooo......this post  got delayed :( But never mind, it is finally here and from now on it will once a week (every Monday) and yes I know it's Tuesday... *guilty look*

For the first 'By The Numbers' post I decided to go to random.org which is a website that generates random numbers. The number for this week is: 33.

So then I sat there and went "huh, 33? what can I do that is related to the number 33?" and twiddled by thumbs for a while before the idea came to me. Not sure sure if it's any good and if you have a better idea let me know :) I present to you the $33 lip collection.

If I only had $33 to spend on lip products and I had no other lip products in my possession what would I buy?

  • Yes To Carrots Lip Butter in Melon $5.99
This is 95% USDA organic lip balm that stays on your lips for over an hour moisturizing them and leaving them soft. I will be relying on this all winter and especially love it because it is free from parabens and is not tested on animals.
  • Rimmel London Kate Moss Lasting Finish Lipstick $11.99
Rimmel London offer a great selection of lipsticks and some of them are under $10 making them a bargain, especially considering their high quality. I have #19 and whilst it is a bit too bold for me I would definitely repurchase another lippy from the range if I had to "re-build" my lipstick collection.

  • Pamer's Cocoa Butter Formula Dark Chocolate and Peppermint Lip Butter $4.79
Eve ignoring the delicious scent of this gel-like lip butter this is a great product to have in your lip collection. It moisturizes and conditions your lips as well being quite glossy which makes it great to wear either alone or under/over lipstick when it is either becoming drying or has nearly worn off.

  • Essence Lipstick $3.50
Essence has a great selection of lipsticks and for the price of $3.50 you can't fault them. Doing this post reminded me of them and now I know next time I'm at Priceline I will adding another to my collection!

  • Essence Stay With Me lipgloss $3.50
And the final product I would select would be a stay with me lipgloss by essence because they have good lasting power and are cheap! Also, they have a great selection of colours. They are stickier than the XXL Shine glosses  by essence but feel nicer on the lips and the sticky factor is pretty subtle.

Total $29.77

I hope you enjoyed this, the first ever 'by the numbers' post, which will be a weekly feature on my blog from now on. Please feel free to leave a comment below, what would your $33 lipstick collection consist of? I would love to know!
Cheers :)
