June Favourites

With exams and the first part of my thesis due at the beginning of June, it was really only the last couple of weeks of June that saw me favouring products.

One of my best friends gave me a beautiful set of miniature Elizabeth Arden Perfumes. They are all lovely but I have been especially smitten with the perfume called 'Pretty'. I'm pretty useless at describing scents but if I had to try I would say it was floral and light.

Winter is well and truly here which means dry skin, ridiculously chapped lips and my pale skin is looking even more pale than usual! To combat dry skin I have been reaching for the Natural Instinct 'Hand &Nail Cream'* and using it every night before going to sleep. It is scented with pure essential oils which make it smell really relaxing and calming which I love in the evening. I'll be writing up a review of this in the near future.  For the chapped lips I have been using Maybelline's Baby Lips in 'Mango Pie' and Natio's 'Shea Butter Lip Balm'. Both balms are pretty decent and seem to be fighting my chapped lips. As a huge mango lover the 'Mango Pie' doesn't live up to my expectations of a delicious mango scented balm but nonetheless it keeps my lips moisturised.

In last month's favourites I exclaimed my love for the Maybelline Elixirs and I am still completely in love with them. I have the shades 'Caramel Infused', 'Nude Illusion' and 'Petal Plush' and I reach for them throughout the week. I have gotten so many compliments when wearing these and find that they are perfect to grab when rushing out the door and want something foolproof but still beautiful.

Thanks for reading and have a fabulous July!!!
